Our two day weekend at Kudremukha

Hubli to Shivmogga in govt. bus Shivmogga to Kottigehara in another govt. bus Kottigehara to Kalasa in local bus that starts at 7 am. Homestay (very nearby to checkpost) Since it takes about 1 - 1.5hr to reach Kalasa from Kottigehara no matter what vehicle you have. There was no way we would be starting our trek on our first day. So, the homestay owner told us, to shift the plan to tomorrow and maybe visit other places instead on our first day. We reached homestay, freshened up and fresh variety of breakfast was ready for us.
